Jansen: We Got The Result And Performance This Time

Chorley boss Matt Jansen believes his side got what they deserved as they picked up victory for the first time in 2018.

Chorley gained the win at Curzon Ashton thanks to goals from Josh Wilson and Nick Haughton, writes Tom Feaheny.

“It was very pleasing to win, performance wise we were fantastic, we deserved the victory, we faced a difficult team and got the job done.

“It propels us right into the mix of it, we know there is a lot to do to get a play-off place but it was important to use the game in hand, like we did.

“I was impressed by the reaction of the players, it’s about the dressing room, the players off the bench worked their socks off.

“The clean sheet is very pleasing, getting the goals was pleasing as well after some blanks."
