Jansen: Ferriby Game Chance To Right Wrongs

Last weeks draw at Darlington left Chorley boss Matt Jansen feeling it was a case of what might have been, they now aim to correct that against North Ferriby United.

The Magpies remain in the play-off picture ahead of facing the side who are bottom of the league, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We are going to battle and go into the game looking to put right what was not correct in the Darlington game," Jansen told the club's audioboom account.

"The energy we put in will be high from the first kick to the last whistle."

Last time out they drew 2-2 at Darlington twice coming back from a goal down, this result sees them four points off the play-off places, Jansen says that point could be key in the future.

"It was a hard earned point for us but I was frustrated, I wanted to come and get the three points but we battled to get the point."

"We came back twice and could have won it right at the end. We have created chances and could have taken it.

"There are a few players missing with suspensions and injuries but we have a good squad and players are coming in to do a job."
