Jansen Delighted As Chorley Continue Winning

Chorley had to dig deep but left with all three points after beating FC United of Manchester 1-0

A Nick Haughton goal with 20 minutes to go means Chorley are now sixth in the Vanarama National League North table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The conditions made the game tough, we did really well in the second-half, I said before the game getting into the first round of the FA Cup is great but we know the league is the aim," Jansen said to the club's website.

"The last ten games we have been fantastic, we showed a real character in bad conditions, I'm just delighted.

"There are so many teams who do well in the cup then fall short in the league, we didn't do that, we have shown how strong we are as a unit."
