Jansen Delighted After Chorley Win Five Goal Thriller

Chorley got back to winning ways in the Vanarama National League North after beating AFC Telford United 3-2.

Chorley gained victory after being 2-0 they in the end won by a single goal, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the club's website Jansen said.

"I thought we started slowly but once we go going, the way we passed it, was just great to see, it was like Premier League play, we could have been four up at half-time.

"Even the goals we conceded they just happen, we then are a man down as well but we relaxed we didn't panic, that was so pleasing to see."

Jansen felt the character of his side shone through.

"We go 3-2 up and we were able to grind it out, it was something we could do last season, that mentality is crucial and really pleasing to know we can do that."

The Chorley boss was also full of praise for two goal striker Marcus Carver

"He took the chances really well, we have strikers who are getting goals in games, they are making a difference."
