Oxford City have moved to make Christian, 19, their player on a six month loan from Portsmouth.
Manager Mark Jones believes the teenager can go on to great things and is thrilled City will get to play a part in his development.
He could feature when City play Bath City in the Vanarama National League South tomorrow.
"We are delighted to bring in Christian on 6 month loan from Portsmouth,” Jones said after signing the sibling of the England and Liverpool midfielder, whose £35 million transfer was completed from Arsenal on deadline day.
"He is a right back/right sided wing back who possesses good power and pace whom Portsmouth are keen to develop.
"We would like to thank their manager Kenny Jackett and Mikey Harris the academy manager for helping make the move possible
“I have seen him play this season and was very pleased with what i saw, he is a player with a big potential and we're excited to help him develop and hopefully he can come and help us with the problem area at right back, so a mutual benefit for both sides
“He will go straight into the squad for the game against Bath tomorrow night."
