It’s The Home Kings Vs The Away Day Specialists!

It’s getting on for 500 days since King’s Lynn Town last lost a home game.

But manager Ian Culverhouse thinks Saturday’s FA Trophy tie could be their toughest examination yet.

It was back in September 2018 when Lynn fans last left The Walks will that unwanted feeling of deflation.

The ambition for the National League North leaders is to make sure they complete 2019 with their record in tact.

But Dover Athletic are the away day specialists of the National League - and no side is better than they are on their travels.

Manager Culverhouse told the Eastern Daily Press: “The pitch might be a leveller, so it might work in our favour," said Culverhouse.
"Get them on a good day and they might play us off the park.

“Clean sheets win you games, no question about it and we have built our sides on clean sheets in the past but we have been a little bit off of it.

“But everyone is putting a real shift in - not just the back four, it is the midfield players who work tirelessly and the front two with their presence up front.”
