The club have calmed fears after he was withdraw during their match with Nuneaton on Saturday.
The local derby was tainted by an unfortunate clash of heads and the forward came off worse.
But Leamington say he is now recovering after being given the OK to return home.
“We are delighted to advise you that following his unfortunate head injury in yesterday’s derby against Nuneaton Borough, Ahmed Obeng was released from the University Hospital Coventry late yesterday evening following X-Rays and a CT scan,” the Brakes confirmed.
It was the good news fans wanted to hear after success against their local rivals.
Their 2-0 win at Liberty Way moves them up to 12 position in the National League North.
Manager Paul Holleran was a happy man after the victory put real distance between the club and the bottom three.
