By Sam Elliott

With fixture release day just a week away, Vanarama National League clubs are continuing to report a surge in season ticket sales.

We all know that when you have that cherished list of who your team is playing and when, the new season is very much on the horizon!

It appears supporters are already counting down the days until August 4 - kick-off for the 2018-19 campaign.

Leyton Orient are leading the way at the moment with nearly 3,000 sold.

The O’s confirmed to us this morning than 2,850 have already be bought by fans as anticipation grows ahead of the pre-season friendly games.

Chesterfield this week announced they have just sold their 2,000th season ticket already as they prepare to try and regain their EFL place at the first attempt.

Wrexham have been over the 2,200 mark for a while with well over six weeks to go until the big kick-off.

Despite a few seasons to forget, Hartlepool United fans clearly sense better things are around the corner.

They’ve just sold their 2,000th season ticket with more expected to fly out of the Victoria Park door.

Hereford fans have the scent of another promotion it seems. They have shifted 1,300 for their National League North campaign, while York City’s sale now sit over 1,000.

Despite relegation, an improvement in mood with new joint managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley has seen well over 600 snapped up.
