Bromley have announced the result of a scan and it’s not the news the defender wanted to hear.
He will miss the rest of the season but his club will ‘continue to support’ the centre-back.
Head physiotherapist Sean Wickenden said: “We took Jake for a scan after he picked up the injury against Boreham Wood.
“Unfortunately it wasn’t good news for us or Jake, as the results show he has ruptured his ACL and had damage to his medial and lateral ligaments as well as a tear on his meniscus.
“Unfortunately this is going to mean a lot of time out for Jake which isn’t the news anyone wanted, but we’re on top of it and are looking to get him back as soon as we can.”
Bromley are without fixture this weekend with their scheduled game with Leyton Orient re-arranged due to the leaders’ FA Trophy commitments.
