It was a day that once again underlined why you can’t take your eyes off the National League for a second.

Epic late title twists keep everyone on their edge of their seat - and it’s as you were, but only just.

Wrexham claimed a chaotic and crazy three points at Aldershot Town, winning a game that at one point looked safe 4-3.

A Sam Dalby goal at 5.02pm left the away fans setting off home hoarse.

Notts County also hit four on their travels and eventually won well at Yeovil Town and they too left it late.

A stunning Macaulay Langstaff hat-trick, completed in extra time, kept them top of the table.

Woking fell to defeat at Altrincham, Joel Lundstram completed the Robins win. Chesterfield remains fourth after a 0-0 draw at Solihull Moors.

Eastleigh are moving on the right direction, Charlie Carter earned them a 1-0 win over Maidenhead - their fourth victory in five.

Southend United have won four in a row, a 1-0 success against Gateshead was secured early by Henry Sandat.

AFC Fylde have a three point lead in the National League North.

Mo Faal’s two goals helped them win well at Peterborough Sports as King’s Lynn Town dropped two points at home to Gloucester City.

Leamington stunned Darlington with two late goals to get back to winning ways with a breathless late victory.

Brackley are always good at home, Callum Stead scored once more as they defeated Bradford PA 4-1.

Sam Walker secured Curzon Ashton a 2-0 win at Hereford.

Declan Weeks’ winner for Chester at home to Boston United came in the 95th minute.
