The 2-1 win against Sutton United moved them nine points clear of Barrow who occupy the final relegation spot at present, writes Tom Feaheny.
For Fullarton it is now four wins, three draws and one defeat as they got to 53 points in the Vanarama National League table.
“I’ve stressed since day one the importance of the group and not just the team, and obviously we made changes because we have four games in a week,” Fullarton told the Halifax Courier.
"Sutton are second in the league because they’re good at what they do, as were Boreham Wood, but I think we’ve shown our own patch is a good place for us to play."
“They’ve responded really well, whoever’s played. Playing against teams who were second and third in the league and to come away with six points, I’m delighted."
The Shaymen are back in action tomorrow at home as they take on Gateshead in another game that could move yet another step closer to safety, Fullarton says his side aren't relaxing just yet.
“We’ve got four games and we’re aiming for 12 points. For want of a better phrase, we’re not on our Butlin’s holiday just yet.
“So whether we’ve got 46 games or four, we’re going to try and win every one. “Forgive me for not looking at that table or points total.”
