It’s A Rendell Raid! Spitfires Sign Scott From The Shots

Eastleigh have chosen the man they hope will fill the scoring boots of Paul McCallum.

Scott Rendell leaves Aldershot to lead the Spitfires line next season.

The former Woking, Luton and Cambridge United striker holes for a change of fortune after an injury-plagued season ended in relegation.

Rendell has a job on to repeat the scoring surge of McCallum.

He left the club to join Solihull Moors earlier this week after scoring 27 National League goals.

Eastleigh manager Ben Strevens said: “He’s a player who we have known about for some time now and have monitored.

“He is big and physical and is going to be a threat going forward.”
