As long as they keep on winning every week, the Clarets boss couldn’t be less bothered!
His side have won eight of their last nine National League South matches and they are now the division’s form team.
Chelmsford have come on strong in 2019 and Stringer hopes they are peaking at exactly the right time.
Last Saturday they squeezed past fellow Essex side East Thurrock - and the manager was just happy to keep the winning run going.
He said: “That was our fourth league win out of four and it doesn’t matter who you are up against and where they are in the table, games become harder at this point in the season.
“We weren’t great, we didn’t have the best of games, but it’s three points. It’s fine by me.
“It’s about those points not about the performance in February. I’m happy with that.
“You have got to play ugly sometimes and find a way to win games of football.”
Chelmsford are six points off leaders Woking and the manager knows “anything can still happen” between now and the end of the season.
