The National League club have already secure a number of impressive attacking options this summer.
But that hasn’t stopped Ammies manager Graham Alexander dipping into the transfer market again to secure the signing of James Hooper.
Alexander sees the former Rochdale youth player are a big player for the future and has shone on trial during the close season.
Hooper is the third forward to join the club in July, after they agreed a deal with Peterborough for Danny Lloyd and with Aberdeen for the prolific Adam Rooney.
“I’m very excited to be here,” he told the club’s media team. “There are a lot of attraction about this club.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing how far Salford can go.”
Salford begin their season live on BT Sport against Leyton Orient on Saturday - a big match preview will be online on Tuesday.
