Hutchinson Makes Bucks Switch

AFC Telford United have announced the signing of defender Graham Hutchinson.

Hutchinson re-joins the Bucks having spent a period on loan at the club during the 2015/16 season before joining Worcester City last summer.

He started his career at Lincoln City, before he was quickly snapped up by Birmingham City.

The former Scotland under-17 player joined Worcester in 2013 before being sold to FC Halifax Town in January 2015.

Hutchinson joined Rob Smith and Larry Chambers on loan during the 2015/16 season and played a huge role in helping the club to secure their status in the National League North.

Bucks boss Smith wanted to sign Hutchinson last summer but it never worked out, but he is delighted to have the deal secured this time around: “Hutch was someone we wanted to keep hold of last season but we could not get near Worcester City’s offer that was on the table,” he said.

“Despite Worcester’s poor season, Hutch had an excellent season personally and was desperate to return to the club. He will be a great addition to the squad and we are delighted to have him in on board”.
