Huge Games Bring National League Weekend To Life!

By Sam Elliott

We get a close look at the two sides relegated from the EFL on Saturday night - and DAZN really get stuck in!

Our new broadcast partner are pitchside at Gander Green Lane as strong starters Sutton United and Forest Green Rovers try to show us all why the pathway to return at the first attempt is there to be trodden.

They are both sitting in the top seven ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off - but may not be by the time the action gets underway.

There’s an exciting 3pm programme of course - and the top two go into battle.

Eastleigh and Gateshead have got off to sensational starts and victory for the Heeds in the North East will mean we have new leaders.

The summer’s title favourites need a reaction. After Barnet went down at Maidenhead on Monday, they take on a Tamworth side fresh from their first National League victory.

Woking have climbed to fourth after three wins in a row but Rochdale are just a point behind them ahead of their meeting at Spotland.

Sitting just outside the top seven are Oldham Athletic and they go to Altrincham in a return to the ground they pretty much saw their play-off hopes disintegrate at last April.

FC Halifax made a great start but haven’t won since. Can they put that right at bottom club Ebbsfleet, who haven’t had much gone right at all yet.

Aldershot and Maidenhead United meet while Boston United hope their first victory gets them going - can they back it up by beating Yeovil Town.

Darren Sarll challenged Hartlepool United to bounce right back after their throwaway defeat at Woking. Braintree Town visit on Saturday while Wealdstone want to keep moving in the right direction but it’s a tough assignment at Solihull Moors.

Southend United and AFC Fylde fans will feel they should have more points on the board by now but three when the teams meet this weekend will get either club’s promotion push going.

AFC Fylde v Southend United

Dagenham & Redbridge v York City
