Housham: Ferriby Players Have To Be Stronger

North Ferriby United have lost their opening three games, conceding 11 goals and scoring zero.

North Ferriby United boss Steve Housham says he is embarrassed after his side lost 5-0 to Brackley Town at home, writes Tom Feaheny.

James Armson scored four times for the visitors and Housham admitted afterwards he was extremely disappointed by what he had seen.

"We were embarrassing and only a couple of players came out of the game with any real credit. We were bullied, not unfairly, out of the game. The players have got to be stronger in challenges."

After seeing his side make it three losses in a row, Housham admitted he was struggling to find any positives.

“We created virtually nothing and our defending was really poor. We missed tackles and left players unmarked. We gave the ball away far too often and far too easily.”

The Villagers next face Alfreton Town away from home as they look to gain their first points of the season.
