So far it has been a tough season for the side who have so far gained just six points from their opening thirteen league matches, writes Tom Feaheny.
"I have been in this league long enough, I know how tough it is, we have had to build again, we are giving certain players a chance, a lot of the goals, we have conceded has been done to basic errors," Housham said.
“We are playing better than we have done at the start of the season recent weeks. We are creating opportunities, we showed that we have players with the ability to compete at this level, We now need to focus on consistency and reducing errors. “
Housham says their link with Rotherham United could be a big reason they can stay up.
"I have a good relationship with the club, they have players who are just needing that game time to get into a League One squad, we have signed some on loan, Mason Warren is a player who is highly rated he has come in and done well so far."
“Kuda Muskwe has scored two great goals against FC United of Manchester, we feel he can make a big difference for us.”
"I will keep fighting, this squad is committed, we just need that bit of luck and hopefully one result will lead to another one."
