Leamington boss Paul Holleran believes the club can learn from their relegation from the division that happened at the end of the 2014/15 season, writes Tom Feaheny.
He told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire he can't wait for his side to be involved in the fantastic league, but wants to use that experience from last time around to their advantage.
"I think it is a fantastic league to be a part of, we have earned the right to be there, we have a good blend of young and experienced players, we want to stay in the league.
"We were relegated the last time we were in the Vanarama National League North, that was not a nice feeling for me at all, we need to learn lessons from that both on and off the pitch during the season.
With just under a week until the season kicks off, Holleran is pleased with the squad he has and the way they have trained so far.
"We were happy with the players we have kept from last season and what we have now.
"A lot of the boys have come out of League football, they came in in good condition, we did not finish until mid-May, it was important that the lads were able to have a little bit of break both physically and mentally, because it was tough for us in gaining promotion."
