Hodges Satisfied With Point

Truro City boss Lee Hodges said he took positives from his side drawing 1-1 against Gloucester City.

The draw means Truro remain right in the hunt for a promotion place as they currently sit seventh, writes Tom Feaheny.

“It was a tough game played in difficult conditions which were tiring on the muscles. We were hoping to win the game, of course, but we had to show plenty of character and fight to get anything out of it," Hodges told the club's website.

“We had to make sure we stayed in the game and we looked solid for long periods. I said to the lads at half-time that our passing needed to be better and I felt that it was after the break as we pushed on.

“It was a great strike for our equaliser; we deserved to take something from the game against a side who were battling for our lives and who we knew would make life difficult for us."
