The 24-year-old has agreed to join City from Southern League Premier Division side Tiverton Town on a one-year deal, with the option of a second year.
It has been a wait for the manager to get the forward in.
“We tried to get him last season, but he felt the time was not right,” Hodges told Cornwall Live.
“We have had a lot of positive reports about him and I am looking forward to working with him.”
Hodges believes the forward has many good qualities that will help the team.
“He is physically strong, has good movement, and is a bigger version of Rocky. He never stops running.”
