Hill's 'Home Truths' Gives Ebbsfleet A Big Kick

Garry Hill’s home truths to his forward helped inspire victory for Ebbsfleet United.

Now he wants Tuesday night’s fine 3-0 win over Maidenhead United to spark a late season surge up the table.

Michael Cheek was at the double with Corey Whitely getting them going.

Fleet hadn’t scored for nearly a month but after netting in just one game in their previous six they blew the Magpies away.

“Over the last few games we haven’t created enough,” Hill told BBC Radio Kent.

“I got into them early before the game tonight and gave them a few home truths that we haven’t done ourselves justice recently.

“But I’m very pleased. Once we scored we were in command and it was nice to see some strong performances.”

Fleet’s next game sees them host Boreham Wood before a trip to Maidstone United.
