Hill Wants Eastleigh To Build On Unbeaten Run

Eastleigh have now gone five without loss, although four of those results have been draws, boss Richard Hill says it is a run he is pleased with.

Richard Hill says to go five without loss is a big thing when looking at the opponents they have faced, as they take on Maidstone United tonight, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We could have more points from them games but look who we faced Leyton Orient, Dag & Red good sides, I see it as results against good sides."

Hill has called on his side to use their next two games that take place at the Silverlake Stadium.

"Being at home gives us an edge of course it does, we have to take advantage in the next two games"

After his side drew 0-0 away in Yorkshire at Nethermoor Park against Guiseley, Hill said it was another result he was satisfied with, as they look to build on it.

"I saw it as a point gained to be honest, you know what you get when facing a Paul Cox side, you have to be tough, they had a few chances, it didn't really fall for us."

He added "The clean sheet pleased me, we had a plan, they get rid of their boss and I have to change it, so I'm satisfied with what I saw."
