The Spitfires return to action after their enforced rest when the club's pitch failed an inspection before their scheduled game with Chester.
Hill says he wants to put a frustrating few days behind him and get back on the pitch at Meadow Park later today.
Eastleigh's manager sees no reason why his team once back to full strength can't give anyone a run for their money.
But he knows Wood will be a difficult nut to crack.
"They are having a really good season and I think they'll be in and around the play-off places," he said.
"They've got a good team and a good manager and I think they have improved since last season. They will be thinking they can do something this year.
"I would like to think we can as well. We've had a few people out injured but we may have one back in contention tomorrow which would offer us a big boost.
"We need to be a bit more consistent but we are on the right road. There's more to come from us."
