Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – 1926-2022

By Tom Scott

It is with profound sadness that The National League has learned that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away earlier today.

Earlier this year, Her Majesty marked 70 years since her accession to the throne – historically becoming the longest-serving monarch in the country’s history.

Her Majesty provided inspiration to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

Everyone connected with The National League joins the wider football family in sending our deepest condolences and sympathies to The Royal Family.

Rest in Peace, Your Majesty.
