It’s five wins in a row and they’ve cast aside a points deduction to climb to 14th, just weeks after they sat in the bottom four.

It will take an almighty collapse now to deny them a second season at the top table.

It was a memorable night for Aaron Martin, whose hat-trick ended a frustrating time for the striker - and he says the support he has received has made all the difference.

“As a team the bond that we’ve got, we’re just unstoppable at the minute,” he told the club’s media team after the match at the Silverlake.

“There’s a real spirit because of the form, it’s fantastic.

“It’s been a rough season at times, but people have been patient with me and I knew it would come at some point.

“The fact they backed me so much made this game special, we’re just pushing each other on.

“I just went into a mode after the first goal, it set me up.

“We’re now getting the luck, we’re getting the balls drop for us. We’re putting teams to bed now and we’ve turned the corner.”
