Heath Says King Signing Was One Of His First Priorities

The new Alfreton Town boss Billy Heath says adding Craig King to his squad was something he's wanted to do since joining the club.

The winger has signed a one year deal at the Impact Arena, writes Tom Feaheny.

He arrives at the Vanarama National League North side after a spell with Gainsborough Trinity.

“Craig is another outstanding player that we are pleased to get with us at the Impact Arena," Heath told the club's website.

"He brings flexibility and can play across the midfield areas; he can go either side of the midfield, wide left and wide right.”

“He will bring creativity to our play; he has excellent delivery at set pieces and scores good goals. It is a good signing and Kingy always works hard all over the pitch. He has experience at this level and he was a player we earmarked when we first came in, we are delighted he is with us.”
