Heath Admits Town Never Reached Same Levels

FC Halifax Town boss Billy Heath says his side deserved their loss against Ebbsfleet United.

The Shaymen conceded early in the second-half and then again during a 2-0 loss away from home. Match highlights here, writes Tom Feaheny.

After this loss Town still remain just three points off top spot but dropped to tenth.

“We never reached the heights of obviously last week, I think it was a fair result to be fair we just didn’t seem to get going at all. Didn’t really create a lot of opportunities, didn’t really put them under enough pressure,” Heath admitted to the club's website.

“We’re disappointed. I just didn’t think reached the heights of the games before. We looked almost about fifty, sixty, seventy percent and we’re waiting for a spark, we’re waiting for some energy levels and we just looked one pace throughout the side.”

“We know every game in this division we’ve got to be at it, full tilt and we weren’t at full tilt today and if we aren’t at full tilt then we won’t get results.”

Town next face Wrexham at the Shay tomorrow night with Heath wanting his side to bounce back.

“We enjoy ourselves, this season at the Shay for most of the time so we’ll hope we can bounce back and get ourselves back to winning ways which is the most important thing.”
