He said at the time his decision to leave was down to the departure of father figure manager Tony Burman.
But after discussions with the club, Hayes has put pen to paper as they look to move into the play-off places on Saturday.
The Darts face Dulwich Hamlet in the National League South and he is available for selection.
Joint manager Adam Flanagan said: “Ryan is known to everyone at the club and we have brought him back as we feel in games this year we have been missing a spark.
“Whether starting a game or coming off the bench we know that Ryan can bring this so when he became available it made sense to bring him back home.”
