Hawks Have Some Making Up To Do Says Upset Bradbury

Lee Bradbury has had a week of soul searching after now wants his players to come up with a solution.

The Havant & Waterlooville manager knows things must change and quickly for the south coast club.

Last Saturday they were humbled by Met Police in the FA Cup.

That came on the back of a terrible run in the National League which hasn’t seen the Hawks win since beating Aldershot back in early September.

Things don’t get any easier. This weekend they travel to title chasing Leyton Orient in desperate need of something to kick start their season.

They then have huge home games with out of form Maidenhead and FC Halifax Town - so it’s a crunch time in their campaign.

Bradbury said: “Every needs to take a long hard look at themselves after the weekend.

“We can’t hide away from what has happened. We need to take responsibly - it was nowhere near good enough.

“It was a massive defeat in terms of finances and confidence. We let ourselves down.

“We now need to show more desire and application. We have to get things back on track very quickly.”

Where next?

Struggling Dover Borrow Bromley Winger Bobby-Joe Dover Athletic’s new manager Andy Hessenthaler hopes he has enhanced the club’s chances of beating the drop by signing a new winger.
