Hawkridge Experience A Welcome Addition For Moors Boss Flowers

Tim Flowers is hoping new signing Terry Hawkridge can add a steady hand to the Moors' promotion push.

Hawkridge made the switch back to the National League side after leaving Notts County earlier this week.

The 28-year-old has history in the League, winning the title with Lincoln City in 2017, something that Flowers thinks his experience pushing at the top can help his side.

"Terry is a very talented footballer, he can play anywhere across midfield and has done in the Football League," he told the club's website.

“I know he’s delighted to be here and I saw lots of things in him which I know will be a massive positive for us between now and the end of the season.

“We’ve now got one or two that have won this division. This isn’t something that’s been random, we’ve gone with the experience and players who don’t crumble."

Hawkridge added, “I’m excited. The lads have been doing well and they’re up and around there. I’m excited and I can’t wait to get started.

“I met up with the Gaffer and the staff – they were really keen to get me in. It’s about playing and enjoying football and I think this is a club where I can really do that."
