Three National League North wins from four has given the Quakers a huge lift following a mid-season slump.
They have strolled past two of the league’s big hitters - York City and Kidderminster - in that sequence to push themselves away from trouble.
The Darlo boss has paid tribute to his players’ hard work after coming through a late 2018 rocky patch.
Just last month he was telling fans he was the right man to steer the ship back on course and he has delivered his promise.
He said: “I thought the boys were unbelievable against Kidderminster.
“They smashed the game plan right out of the park, it was a fantastic performance.
“We re-grouped after New Year’s Day, the York game was probably a match too far for them.
“But they were outstanding and to man they were excellent.
“We’re on a good little run now and we just want to keep climbing up that table as quickly as we possibly can.”
Next up for Darlington is Saturday’s challenging trip to Alfreton Town.
