Have Hartlepool Now Turned A Corner?

Hartlepool United manager Craig Harrison was quick to shower his players with praise after this weekend's exploits and beamed: we’ve turned a corner!

Pools won 1-0 against Vanarama National League leaders Dagenham & Redbridge yesterday thanks to Jon Franks’ third goal in as many games. Watch Match Highlights Here.

Their winning run has certainly lifted the gloom over Victoria Park and the club are now looking towards the play-off places instead of over their shoulders.

Harrison was understandably happy and thinks the bad times could be behind them.

"Three games in a row now we have outfought the opposition,” the manager said.

“Last week we got a goal up, two up then three up and played some really good stuff. But this was about getting a result another win on the bounce.

"When was the last time Hartlepool United got three wins on a bounce?”

Hartlepool now face an acid - a trip to the Racecourse Ground to play Wrexham.
