His side came back from 2-0 down to snatch a plucky draw at in-form Barrow on Saturday.
That kept them sixth - and a five point gap has opened up between them and the other side of the play-off places.
Harrogate are looking for a second promotion in a row having won the National League North Promotion Final last May.
They have been able to meet the standard in their first year up and Weaver thinks there’s a lot to be said for their togetherness.
“We had to show a response in the second half and we did,” he said.
“We’re at the time in the season where every point you earn could make all the difference - we’ve had to show a lot of spirit to get something but we have plenty of that.
“We were below par in the first half but after half-time we were superb and we got that reaction I was looking forward.
“We could have even gone on to win it but we have to be happy with the response.”
