Harrogate Borrow Rotherham Striker

Yates won Rotherham`s young player of the year award for the 2014/15 season.

The striker earned his award after a breakthrough year which saw him make his professional debut for the club.

A prolific goalscorer at youth and reserve level last season, his form earned him a place in the first-team squad on a number of occasions before he made his senior debut as a substitute in the game with Birmingham City in April.

He also spent time out on loan with Town`s Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North neighbours Harrogate Railway Athletic during last season.
