Harrison: Pools Unbeaten Run Down To Team Spirit

Hartlepool United boss Craig Harrison says making it seven games unbeaten in down to the spirit in the dressing room.

The Pools got to that total of games without a loss after defeating Torquay United 2-0, writes Tom Feaheny.

They are now just a point off the play-off places after two second-half goals ensured they gained victory.

“The one thing we have got is great team spirit. When things aren’t going well we don’t point fingers, we get closer together and the second half is a good example of that – we came out like a different team, ”Harrison told the club’s website.

“Torquay got out of the blocks very quickly and put us under a lot of pressure after their good win at Ebbsfleet in midweek.

“We took the sting out of them and went out and played our game in the second half, and we could probably have won by more in the end."
