The Pools climbed the table thanks to Jonathan Franks finding the back of the net to ensure they won the game 2-1, writes Tom Feaheny.
“We’ve shown a real bit of consistency. The game itself was always going to be cagey as they had just changed their manager and they’re trying to get themselves out of trouble and the reaction from a new manager,” said Harrison to the club's website.
“You talk about the character and the togetherness and that will to win. We score on 90 minutes and it’s a fantastic feeling.”
Harrison admitted they know their is still room for improvements especially when they are in winning positions.
“Once we scored we took our foot of the pedal a little bit. It’s easy on the sidelines saying don’t drop off and keep on the front foot but naturally as a defender you drop deep to try and protect that 1-0. It’s just trying to get that mindset to go and push for 2 or 3.”
