Harriers Stumble But Keep Impressive Unbeaten Run Going

Kidderminster Harriers let their standards slip in the draw at Leamington, according to boss John Eustace.

Harriers are unbeaten in 13 National League North games but they have drawn seven of those, including Saturday’s 1-1 stalemate at Leamington.

Andre Brown has given Kiddy a half-time lead but they were forced to settle for a point in Warwickshire and Eustace thought his side’s second-half performance was below par.

“It was a tough game but I was delighted with the first-half performance; I thought we played very well,” Eustace told the club’s website.

“In the second half we dropped our standards a little bit and Leamington put the pressure on - they were excellent.

“I was just disappointed with the second half as we took our foot off the gas a little bit.

“In the end, we’re happy with a point because we could have easily lost that with a couple of chances they had.”
