Hamlet's Homecoming Gets Nearer And Nearer

Dulwich Hamlet’s homecoming on Boxing Day looks set to be played out in front of a full house.

Advanced tickets for the National League South club’s return to Champion Hill are all gone.

The club report a ‘limited’ amount of tickets will be on sale for the December 26 fixture with Eastbourne Borough on the turnstiles from midday - meaning fans who haven’t booked themselves in before will have to arrive early to get their spot.

Manager Gavin Rose thinks the return back to their own ground after sharing with Tooting & Mitcham since the end of last season having been kicked out is a huge moment.

It's not been all bad at Imperial Fields. Dulwich broke their play-off hoodoo last May when they defeated Hendon to earn promotion, pictured.

Hamlet are well on course to remain in the league, sitting eight points outside the drop zone and on Saturday drew 1-1 at Gloucester City

Rose said: “The fans have been through a lot but everyone has worked tirelessly to make it happen.

“We can’t wait to walk out on Boxing Day back home again. It will be a proud moment.”
