Hamlet Are Hopeful Of Crystal Palace Friendly Cash Boost

Dulwich Hamlet have called for a bumper crowd tonight as Crystal Palace’s first team stars pitch up.

The Eagles were due to play the National League South side this summer but the friendly match failed to materialise.

The Premier League club promised to re-arrange and they did. Roy Hodgson will manage the side with all players not on international duty expected to take part.

The game, which kicks off at 7pm at Tooting & Mitcham, is very much needed.

The club are still without a ground of their own and this is their only home match in October.

Hamlet said: “A cruel FA cup twist of fate has now made this our only home game in October.

“It’s absolutely vital for the health of the club that we pack out Imperial Fields on Thursday as Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace come to visit.”

Fans are being advised to turn up early as Gavin Rose’s team get ready to test themselves against top flight players.
