But for Torquay United's stand in manager Robbie Herrera, he thinks there is more to it than that.

Part of the reason for being content with Saturday's showing was that they kept Wrexham - the National League's form side - quiet for most of the afternoon.

The Red Dragons struggled to get their game going and that, the caretaker says, should give the Gulls a sense of pride.

It looks like Herrera will remain in charge for Tuesday's trip to Bromley and he thinks there are signs that elusive first win of the season isn't too far away.

"I see no reason why the supporters shouldn't take some belief from the performance because I have," he said.

"They can see we are desperate to get that first win on the board and I think it's getting closer.

"A clean sheet in the circumstance has got to be seen as a big positive. Wrexham have won their last three games and came here playing with great confidence.

"We are starting to get some of our injured players back now so we go to Bromley is a good frame of mind.

"Hopefully that will be the day that we get our first three points of the season."
