Guiseley Start Full-Time Training Ahead Of Schedule

By Tom Feaheny

Guiseley will see several of their first-time squad training four days a week.

The Vanarama National League side have made the decision to add more sessions as they look to climb the table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"Our training schedules are Monday morning, Tuesday night, Thursday night and Friday morning, with Wednesdays off," a Guiseley statement said.

"This will allow the players who have jobs outside of football to train with the squad."

The move has been backed and encouraged by manager Paul Cox.

“That first win is crucial for us, we now need to grow as a team and put in a good display each time, I have been impressed with what I have seen so far this will help."

Cox admitted his attention is already on their next League game.

“We as a group know how important next Saturday is to get that first league win with me here, that builds confidence and can move us up the table.”
