The striker scored the winning goal at Aveley last weekend to keep the Gulls very much in the National League South title hunt.
He did the same against Bath City the week before and his efforts have taken the club to within striking distance of leaders Worthing.
Just three points separate the top four teams and Torquay boss Paul Wootton is happy to keep the 1-0 wins coming after three in a row.
“He was fuming he didn’t start - he really had the hump,” the manager said.
“I had a chat with him and he said he is feeling physically and mentally refreshed. You can see that.
“It’s a crazy league, we’re not getting overexcited about anything. It’s about picking up the points now.
“1-0 or 10-0, three points is three points. It’s about winning, at any point in the season, and it’s about finding a way.”
Torquay now have back-to-back home games against Chesham United and Slough Town. They also face Weymouth at Plainmoor with visits to Truro City and Hemel Hempstead Town either side.
