Gray Delighted To Get Pattison Loan Confirmed

York City boss Martin Gray believes Alex Pattison will make an impact with the side during his loan spell with the club.

The midfielder joins from Middlesborough's under 23s on a one month loan deal, writes Tom Feaheny.

"Alex has been at Middlesbrough for ten or eleven years and is very, very highly thought of. I believe he will have a really big future in the game at a higher level," Gray told York City's website.

"He is a very attacking minded midfield player and he has got a goal in his game, for sure. We have known about him for a long time."

Pattison hasn't played many games this season due to injury, with Gray thinking the move works for all parties.

"He's just come back from injury so I think it will benefit everybody. He will get the game-time that he needs and he will get the senior football that Academy players at that age need to experience."
