Goodliffe Goes Back To Sutton United As Gray’s Number Two

Sutton United have a new assistant manager - and it’s a familiar face.

The club’s former defender Jason Goodliffe will be new manager Matt Gray’s numbed two.

Woking’s former caretaker boss has joined as the club get ready for their return to pre-season training.

“I am delighted to bring Jason into what is already a great group of staff.” Gray told the club’s website.

“He is someone I have known for a long time and he was the only person I wanted to bring in with me for my first managerial job.

“His wealth of experience as a player and coach at this level and above will be invaluable to both me and the club.

“I am really looking forward to working with Jason, the staff and the players when we are back in for pre-season on Tuesday.”
