Gomis Goes To Dover As Barrow Man Is On His Travels

French midfielder Bedsente Gomis has penned a deal with Dover Athletic from fellow National League side Barrow.

Whites fans have already had a glimpse of the 30-year-old in the club’s 5-1 pre-season win over Deal this week, where Gomis made a second half appearance for Chris Kinnear’s side.

Starting his career in France with Lens, Gomis had spells at Almeria and Puertollano in Spain before moving to England for a very brief spell with Southend United.

After his deal at Roots Hall finished, Gomis signed for
National League side Sutton United where he spent three seasons, making 129 appearances and scoring 15 goals, playing a part in the club’s historic FA Cup run along the way.

His latest club was Barrow where he made 43 appearances last season but he now makes the move to Crabble for the coming campaign.
