Ollie Pearce was one of the most talked about signings of the summer - and the question on most people’s lips was centred around if he can take his scoring talents to the next level.

After 43 goals last season for Worthing, much was expected - and he’s certainly not let York City down.

Notching seven goals in six games in November, prolific Pearce took his tally to 14 league goals for the season. The marksman is outperforming his xG of 8.51 by almost double!

Bagging braces against Hartlepool, Yeovil Town and Maidenhead United, he is going to take some stopping.

He ended November on a run of 11 goals in nine National League games - and is gearing up for a title push in 2025.

Talking of great goalscorers, George Alexander has propped up Eastbourne Borough’s charge.

The summer signing from Chelmsford City hit no fewer than seven goals in six National League South appearances in November – taking his total for the season so far to ten.

He started the month with a superb treble against Hemel Hempstead before following it up with a double against Welling United. He also notched against Bath City and Maidstone United.

But it’s not all about the on-fire forwards, of course - deadly defenders can’t be ignored.

Well, it helps when your centre-half chips in with three! Chester had an unlikely hero in November as Harrison Burke pitched in with a return most strikers would be proud of.

After coming up with important goals against Chorley, Warrington Town and Needham Market, he even came up with an assist to crown a fine month.

All three of his goals were crucial with two winners, and if it wasn’t for his efforts in the opposition box the Seals would be five points worse off and sitting in mid-table.
