Ten-Grotenhuis, 20, joined Rovers in the summer from the Tigers` league rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough and arrived highly-rated by management at The Beveree.
Speaking to gloucestercityafc.com, City manager Tim Harris spoke of how pleased he was when Ten-Grotenhuis became available: “Charlie is a big, but very athletic midfielder who comes highly recommended to us by the coaching staff at Bristol Rovers.
“We’ve had him watched for their reserves a couple of times this season and he’s been getting great reviews in the reports we have received on him.
“Naturally when an opportunity to sign a player like Charlie arises it’s one you have to take a chance on, and he will give us a different option to what we have.”
Ten-Grotenhuis will be available for selection for tomorrow`s gave against Welling United.
