Gardiner Says Application Of Harriers Squad Led To Victory

Kidderminster Harriers head of coaching Matt Gardiner says he was impressed with the manner of the sides victory at Alfreton Town.

A 2-0 win was secured thanks to goals in the second-half from Joe Ironside and Dan Bradley.

"The players deserve the credit, they were excellent, I am really pleased with how we managed the game," Gardiner told the club's website.

"You could see how clinical we were with the chances we took, the attitude was fantastic.

"With the profile of the game, we knew we had to be ruthless, move the ball around, our transition was very impressive."

They are next up against Boston United, a team they faced in the FA Trophy and Gardiner knows what to expect from the away match.

"It is a tough game, we've been there already, it is a quick turnaround, we will get everyone prepped and be ready to go."
