The Hatters raced into a two-goal lead at their National League North rivals on Saturday only for Kiddy to fight back and level.
The teams will do it all again at Edgeley Park and Gannon was left satisfied after Saturday's draw, saying his side showed more signs of improvement.
He said: “It was like our game at Salford last week. Lots of excitement and lots of good football.
“I’m really pleased because there were lots of positives to take for us, especially with the way we got into a two-goal lead.
“You have to give credit to Kidderminster because they really had a go and after their first goal you really felt that either side could go and win it.
“I’m not going to criticise the lads for the way they conceded at Salford or at Kidderminster. We’ll learn from it and if we continue to improve on things like we have over the last two months, we’re confident of having a successful second half of the season.”
